Antonio Bavasso is the co-founder and co-Executive Director of the Jevons Institute and Visiting Professor at University College London.
He is a regular speaker, author and commentator in this area, and has acted on many of the leading precedents in the sector over the last 25 years advising many of the industry leaders on mergers, behavioural cases, complaints, litigation, strategy and policy issues. He is one of the preeminent experts on the application of antitrust and regulation to the TMT sector.
Antonio is dual qualified in the UK and Italy and has practised in San Francisco. In private practice he is a partner at Simpson Thacher where he leads the European Antitrust and Foreign Investment practice.
Antonio holds a JD magna cum laude from the University of Florence and a PhD from University College London.
