Francesco Rossi Dal Pozzo

University of Milan

Full Professor of European Union Law at the University of Milan where he currently teaches 'European Union Law' (foundation course), 'European Union Competition Law and State Aid' and 'European Transport Law'. He is Director of the postgraduate and specialisation course in European Union Law organised by the University of Milan (AY 2019-2020 and 2020-2021). He has been and still is responsible for several national and international research projects. In particular, he was Director of the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence of the University of Milan on Digital Single Market and cybersecurity (2017-2020), responsible for two Jean Monnet teaching modules on Transport Law and is currently holder of a Jean Monnet Chair ad personam on 'EU Health Legal Framework and Competition Law'. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Italian Association of European Union Law Scholars (AISDUE). He is a member of the European Union Law Commission of the Council of the Milan Bar Association. He is the author of numerous essays and articles and of monographic works on different topics of EU law, internal market law, competition, transport, and protection of fundamental rights, as well as the editor of the volumes 'Codice degli aiuti di Stato' (Giappichelli, 2019) and 'Codice della concorrenza' Torino (Giappichelli, 2019) and other editorial works. He has been a speaker at numerous national and international scientific conferences, having also been responsible for the organisation of a number of them.

On a professional level, after having worked in international firms in London and Milan, since 2017 he has been practising in his own law firm and is of counsel or collaborates with leading law firms on matters of European Union law and on competition law and state aid issues.
