Alessandro Raffaelli has been working with the Law Firm Rucellai & Raffaelli since 2005 and has been a partner since 2019.

His expertise is competition law, both national and European. He has significant experience in cartel investigations and abuse of dominance proceedings as well as merger control and participation in industry investigations. He is responsible for the implementation and updating of Antitrust Compliance Programs and specific antitrust trainings. He also assists clients in all stages of investigations conducted by competition authorities and in the possible appeal of decisions before the relevant authorities. He provides assistance during litigation, representing leading companies in relation to the areas of his expertise, including in relation to stand-alone and follow-on court actions for antitrust damages. He is involved in drafting legal opinions on the interpretation and application of EU antitrust law.

He also assists clients at a judicial and extrajudicial level in all areas relating to consumer protection, commercial practices, misleading and comparative advertising, abusive contractual clauses, labeling, commercialization and regulation of products subject to specific regulations (such as food, MOCA, cosmetics, medical devices), damage from a defective product.
