Dario Ruggiero, member of the antitrust team at Cintioli e Associati, has more of 25 years experience in antitrust and EU law. Dario advises numerous companies in proceedings of Italian Competition Authority (Autorità Garante della Concorrenza e del Mercato) and the European Commission in connection with cartels, abuses of dominant positions, mergers, and unfair commercial practices, as well as in subsequent administrative litigation, particularly before the Regional Administrative Court of Latium (TAR del Lazio) and the Supreme Administrative Court (Consiglio di Stato). Furthermore, he has handled numerous civil actions for damages arising from violations of antitrust law (so-called private enforcement).
He is also specialized in the application of Foreign Direct Investment and national strategic assets legislation (golden power).
Dario offers specific advice in the postal and telecommunications sectors, including in proceedings and consultations initiated by the national regulatory authority (Autorità per le garanzie nelle comunicazioni).
He has taught and continues to teach EU and national competition law in master's and postgraduate specialization courses. He is lecturer at conferences and seminars, as well as author of several publications, on the regulation of postal services and private enforcement.
He graduated in Law with honors at the University of Naples "Federico II" (1995) and subsequently specialized in European Union Law, Economics and Policies (1998).
