Martina Caldana

Martina Caldana is Senior Vice President at Compass Lexecon and a member of the firm's International Executive Committee. She works across Milan, Rome, Brussels and London, with extensive experience in the field of competition economics and antitrust law.
Specialising in merger control, economic analysis and antitrust proceedings, she has worked on some of the major merger cases at European and international level, including Google/Fitbit, FCA/Peugeot, Bayer/Monsanto and E.ON/Innogy.
Throughout her career, she has advised clients before the European Commission, the UK's CMA and other national competition authorities, also handling litigation relating to abuse of a dominant position, cartels and antitrust damages.
Graduated with honours from Bocconi University, she is recognised internationally by the Lexology Index as one of the leading competition economists "Under 45".
