A qualified lawyer, she works at the Italian Banking Association where, since 2003, she has been continuously involved in Italian and EU antitrust law, providing advice and training with a specific focus on issues relating to the credit sector and payment services.

Since 2005, as European regulations have evolved, she has progressively expanded her work to include the analysis of consumer protection legislation and the related remit of the AGCM, as well as that of various sectoral authorities.

More generally, she monitors developments in legislation of interest to banks with specific implications for competition (legislation on payment services, interlocking, legality ratings, etc.).

He has represented the ABI on various committees of the European Banking Federation and the European Mortgage Federation, monitoring, among other things, the work leading to the adoption of the Unfair Commercial Practices Directive.

Previously, also at the Italian Banking Association, he dealt with the legal issues related to the transition from the lira to the euro.

He has published several articles and essays on competition and consumer protection, with specific reference to the banking sector. He has participated in seminars and delivered lectures in specialisation and master's courses at LUISS and at the European University of Rome.

He is a member of the Competition Commission of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Italy.
